Mit unserem Konzept-Album „ELVA“ erzählen wir ein tragisches und auch mystisches Märchen aus dem hohen Norden. Die Besonderheit an dieser Geschichte ist, dass es um das Thema Autismus geht, ohne es in der Erzählung oder in den Liedern zu erwähnen. In der Nähe einer kleinen Siedlung lebt Gunnar mit seiner Frau Estrid und deren Sohn Sven und bewirtschaften dort einen Hof mit Vieh und Acker. Im Mittelpunkt steht aber der junge, fast noch knabenhaft wirkende Sven, welcher eine außergewöhnliche Freundschaft zu einem Wesen mit dem Namen Elva hat. Im Verlauf der Geschichte wird immer mehr die Eigenartigkeit von Sven gezeigt und wie oftmals typisch für nordische Erzählungen, endet alles in Drama und Tod!
Die Idee und die ersten Arbeiten an „ELVA“ begannen Anfang 2023 und wir hätten niemals gedacht, dass sich die Umsetzung der Geschichte, zusammen mit den Liedern so lange hinziehen würde. Um so mehr sind wir stolz, und freuen uns darauf, wenn „ELVA“ am 26.09.2025 veröffentlicht wird.
With our concept album „ELVA,“ we tell a tragic and mystical fairytale from the far north. What’s special about this story is that it addresses the topic of autism without mentioning it in the narrative or the songs. Gunnar lives near a small settlement with his wife Estrid and their son Sven, who manage a farm with livestock and fields. The focus, however, is the young, almost boyish Sven, who has an extraordinary friendship with a creature named Elva. As the story progresses, Sven’s peculiarities are increasingly revealed, and as is often typical of Nordic tales, everything ends in drama and death!
The idea and initial work on „ELVA“ began in early 2023, and we never imagined that the realization of the story, along with the songs, would take so long. We are all the more proud and look forward to the release of „ELVA“ on September 26, 2025.
